Bhagwan Aranath, whose symbol is the Nandyavarta (a type of swastika), achieved liberation and showed the path of righteousness to countless souls. Born in Hastinapur, he attained Kaivalya on Mount Sammeta Shikharji.

Who is Bhagwan Aranath?

Bhagwan Aranath was the eighteenth Tirthankara of this present age (Avasarpini). His symbol is Nandyavarta, and he is revered for his profound spiritual achievements and teachings.

Born as a prince in Hastinapur, he renounced worldly pleasures to pursue the path of spiritual liberation. After years of intense meditation and penance, he attained Kevala Gyan (omniscience) and became a Tirthankara.

His teachings emphasized the importance of right conduct, compassion towards all living beings, and the pursuit of spiritual purity. He established a four-fold sangha consisting of monks, nuns, laymen, and laywomen.

Bhagwan Aranath attained Moksha (liberation) at Sammeta Shikharji, joining the eternal realm of liberated souls.
